FTP connections are faster for copies, but lack the ability to inspect and download.

For copies from remote connections, using FTP is faster and more reliable than using SMB.

The 'Ingest' feature is always a pull function, not a push function. It involves copying from (pulling) rather than copying to (pushing).
Step by Step
- Go to the Spaces page and then the Ingest tab.
- Select one of the FTP connections listed. If no connection(s) appear, you will need to add one before continuing.
- To copy an item, right-click on it or select one or more folders and/or files, and then click on the 'Copy' action.
- Choose a destination within one of the spaces on your node.
- Select a ‘Conflict Resolution’ option.
- (Optional) Toggle on ‘Recursive’ to also copy the contents of subdirectories.
