What to Expect
- Initiation of Remote Access: Our engineering technician will require remote access to your system to oversee all aspects of the upgrade process, including configuration and setup.
- System Drive Preparation: A new system drive will be prepared by incorporating your existing server settings. Once configured, it will be dispatched to your location.
- Network Connection Preparations: Prior to the upgrade, it is crucial to connect the server’s Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) port to your network. This step ensures smooth communication during the upgrade process. For //ROGUE and //ROGUE PRO servers: Access to the system drive requires opening the server chassis. Please proceed with caution to replace the system drive.
- Onsite System Drive Replacement: For //TANK, //DEUS EX, and //AUTEUR units: These servers are equipped with SSD slots located at the rear. Please install the new SSD in an available slot.
- Configuration and Testing: Once the new system drive is in place, our technician will remotely access your server to restore and import settings onto the new drive. They will also perform any additional configurations and conduct thorough testing to ensure optimal performance.
- Completion and Access Restoration: After the successful configuration and testing, the server will be ready for user access, marking the completion of the upgrade process.
Install the New Desktop App
Things to consider:
- Compatibility: The new version mandates the use of the accompanying new desktop application. The previous version is incompatible with this update.
- Installation Impact: When you install the new version, please be aware that it will replace the older application currently on your system.
- Configuration Requirement: After installing the new version, you will need to manually re-enter your previous node settings. This step is crucial to ensure your system operates smoothly with the new update.
